On Thursday the 4th July 2019 Great Barr Golf Club hosted a charity golf day for Cost of Cancer which was sponsored by Ultraline
Cost of Cancer is a charity that helps those who are finding life financially difficult whilst going through treatment for cancer. Please head over to their recently rebuilt website where you can find out all about the charity and also how to donate to this really important charity.
Ultraline are UK wide business who look to enhance contemporary living environments with no visual compromise using state of the art design and engineering sponsored the golf day. They worked on transforming the club house into a technology hub with live leader-boards on display and a vast array of golfing goodies. A drone was used to capture some fantastic shots of the golfers putting the skills to test across the Great Barr par 72 golf course which always offers a challenging but fun round of golf.
The golf day was a shotgun start in glorious July sunshine and featured several prizes for the charitable golfers who certainly dressed for the occasion.

The directors of Ultraline would like to pass on our thanks to Great Barr Golf Club for its organisation and hosting of our charity golf day. The feedback we have had makes us really proud of what we have achieved from the day. The event ran smoothly and that no doubt contributed to a successful fundraising effort and it’s on this note we have to thank the generosity of all our golfers and their organisations as we raised a phenomenal £18,000 from this event.
